That isn’t “fake syndication”, that is “real” syndication. Most webmasters that publish syndicated content do that already. It has worked for many years, I’m sure it will work for you as well.
Please note that the syndication copyright usually prohibits the changing of the content. But there is no problem adding content in the form of your own call to action either before or immediately after the unaltered syndicated content.
