If you are not measuring you are not marketing!
Tracking isn’t all that hard, just learn how to do it and make it a central part of your marketing efforts. If you do not know your return on investment you cannot make good marketing decisions. It’s not optional, it’s the core technique of marketing. If you are not tracking your KPIs you are just “selling”, not marketing.
Google Analytics is Free, as is Google Tag Manager, and Google Optimize. If you use those tools you can measure an incredible amount of marketing data that will provide that critical marketing data you must have to make good decisions.
As more competitors learn more advanced marketing techniques you will need to up your game to keep up. You need to learn more sophisticated marketing strategies, not simply charge more for the same thing.
I suggest you try multi-step, multi-channel marketing strategies to lower your cost per acquisition. Also, consider investing in marketing automation technology to increase conversion rates, AOV, and order frequency. These techniques can be complete game-changers when implemented properly.
