[I have two websites that rank on the first page of Google for keywords conference planning and kitchen sales (additional keywords also). I have placed Google ads on the sites but not getting many clicks (<10 per month). Does anyone have advice on how to monetize the sites beyond ads or maybe ideas on doing something completely different from the sites? URLs below.]
It seems to me that you are targeting very low traffic keywords. You didn’t mention how much traffic you get for those terms. If you are only getting 50-70 targeted visitors then 10 clicks are pretty good for that amount of traffic.
For example, your page is at position #7 for the term “kitchen sales”. That term gets about 260 searches per month, locally. That should net you less than ten visitors a month from that keyword. How many clicks would you expect from that much traffic?
